Step into the Yagan Square Amphitheatre for an immersive Aboriginal cultural experience during NAIDOC Week, coinciding with the first week of the July school holidays! All activities are free and no bookings are required. Just come along!

Immerse yourself in the rich traditions and vibrant heritage of Australia's First Nations people with a range of free, family-friendly activities on Wednesday, 5 July.

Engage in interactive workshops that will take you on a journey through Aboriginal art, cuisine, and craft. Unleash your creativity as you learn traditional painting techniques, Indigenous tastes and flavours and indulge in hands-on activities.

On Thursday 6 July, be prepared to be mesmerised by captivating theatre performances from Yirra Yaakin - Australia's largest Aboriginal-led theatre company. Experience powerful storytelling, evocative performances, and a celebration of Indigenous narratives that will leave you inspired.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the rich cultural heritage of our First Nations peoples. Come together with your family and friends to celebrate, learn, and appreciate the unique contributions of our Indigenous communities.

Yirra Yaakin will be performing at 11.15am and 1.15pm.
