New homesites at Highland Range to be released

  • 17 new homesites at Highland Range estate in Perth foothills to be released to market following sell out of first two stages
  • Lot sizes range from 375sqm to 490sqm, priced between $280,000 and $308,000
  • Buyers must pre-register with the Sales Agent from September 4 to secure opportunity

With the sell-out of Stage 1 (37 lots) at DevelopmentWA’s Highland Range estate in Jane Brook, buyers will soon have the opportunity to secure a brand new homesite on the edge of the picturesque Swan Valley, with the release of Stage 2A.

The land release on Friday 4 September includes 17 new elevated lots, ranging in size from 375sqm to 490sqm, with land prices starting from just $280,000.

Located at the base of the Darling Scarp, with Jane Brook on the doorstep and the Perth CBD only a 35-minute drive away, Highland Range has attracted strong interest from buyers.

DevelopmentWA chief executive Frank Marra said Highland Range offered a unique opportunity to build a home with a country feel while remaining close to suburban amenities.

“Having a national park on your doorstep is something few estates can offer, yet you won’t have to travel far for schools, shops and work,” he said.

“With the Swan Valley and Jane Brook Winery, as well as galleries, micro-breweries, fresh local produce, cafes and restaurants a short drive away, it’s a rewarding lifestyle.

“When combined with the range of incentives currently on offer from the State and Federal governments, it’s no surprise that demand from homebuyers has seen Stages 1A and 1B at Highland Range sell out – and we have already seen keen interest in the next stage of land, with interested parties contacting the sales agent.

“We’re expecting lots in Stage 2A to be keenly sought after when they become available.”

Several of the new release blocks overlook Wiltshire Park, which features walkways, public art, viewing platforms and a giant sun dial. Nearby Augustus Park offers a beautiful lake and children's playground, with Jane Brook just a short walk down the hill.

With interest in the new land release already high, prospective buyers must pre-register online from 9am on Friday September 4 at www.developmentwa.com.au/highlandrange

The sales agent will then call back buyers in the order registrations were received, and book in appointments to purchase commencing on Saturday 5 September from 8:30am at the agent’s offices in Darlington. Conditions apply so buyers are urged to visit the website to view the purchase process.

Up to $69,000 in grants and concessions are being offered by the WA State Government and Federal Government for eligible home buyers.

“Highland Range represents one of the last chances to purchase land in Jane Brook and we know demand is high, with the final 18 available Stage 1 homesites all going under offer in June – so I would urge buyers to register their interest in Stage 2A on September 4,” Mr Marra said.
