New land release to deliver housing boost at Champion Lakes

A new release of residential lots at DevelopmentWA’s Champion Lakes estate is set to expand housing options in Armadale.

The first 23 lots of the 53-lot Stage 7B at Champion Lakes are now available, marking the first land release at the popular estate in two years.

Chief Executive of DevelopmentWA Mr Frank Marra said this current release of lots follows the successful sell-out of land in Stage 7A, with more than 330 residential lots in total sold to date at the estate.

“The Champion Lakes estate has been a real success story since its first land release in 2008, building a thriving and connected local community with a fantastic range of active lifestyle options on offer,” Mr Marra said.

“The first release of lots in Stage 7B are sized between 261sqm to 485sqm. The 23 lots will be sold by private treaty with prices starting from $152,000. All lots include a landscaping and fencing rebate package.”

Subsequent releases in Stage 7B will include two grouped housing sites and 28 single residential lots set for release in 2022. Two areas of public open space totalling more than 2,900sqm will be constructed next year.

Established in 2008, Champion Lakes has become a thriving residential community offering a unique lifestyle with walking and cycling paths, picnic areas, small beaches and the Champion Lakes Regatta Centre – a world-class international standard rowing course.

The estate is conveniently located just 10 minutes to Armadale centre and 35 minutes from the Perth CBD.

Residents and the wider Armadale community are able to access free Live Life Get Active fitness classes held in the Champion Lakes estate and sponsored by DevelopmentWA.

“The launch of new lots at this popular estate will deliver fresh housing options for the Armadale area as it continues to grow, together with access to quality exercise areas, playgrounds and of course the lake, which are enjoyed by estate residents and those in surrounding areas,” Mr Marra said.
