We’re backing Regional WA.
Through Regional Land Booster you can access DevelopmentWA incentives on our residential and industrial land.
Located 345km south-east of Perth in the southern Wheatbelt region, Varley is a farming town that mainly produces cereal grain crops and sheep for wool and meat.
Established in 1928, Varley boasts spectacular views of farmland plains, pale gold in summer and vivid green in the spring, dotted with natural salt lakes shimmering in shades of pink, green and mauve.
In spring, the region blooms with a spectacular array of wildflowers including many species of orchid, tea tree, wax flower, sheoak and wattle. Road verges and nature reserves come alive with vivid hues from all colours of the rainbow.
With a population of approximately 200 people, Varley offers a wide range of recreational facilities including lawn bowls, netball, tennis and an 18-hole golf course.
The town provides a vital lifeline for surrounding isolated communities, with a well-equipped medical centre that has regular visits from the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
To the east of the town is the historic Rabbit Proof Fence and a fascinating former gold mining settlement called Hatters Hill (1930-1944).
To continue the development of a vibrant regional community, purchasers are required to build their home within 36 months from settlement.
Regional Development Assistance Program
This residential land has been developed under our Regional Development Assistance Program (RDAP). RDAP helps Local Governments to address the high costs associated with residential, industrial and commercial land developments in regional WA. Through these partnerships we deliver the land needed to support regional growth and to build great communities.
