Once we have discussed the project location with you, you will then be provided with a Filming Access Request Form. This form should be submitted at least six weeks prior to your proposed filming start date. This allows time for a thorough assessment, safety review, and licence preparation.

Please note that access to project sites is subject to approval and may require specific conditions to ensure the safety of all parties and the protection of our assets.

 

Who can apply

DevelopmentWA welcomes filming requests from professional production companies and industry-recognised filmmakers whose projects align with our site access, safety, and promotional requirements.

We are open to accepting applications from:

• Commercial production companies
• Television networks and streaming platforms
• Documentary filmmakers with a professional portfolio
• Government or educational institutions producing professional-grade content
• Marketing and media agencies working on behalf of clients

 

Please note:

Due to the complexity and breadth of our sites, we’re unable to accommodate requests from:

• Amateur filmmakers
• Student productions
• Non-professional or hobbyist content creators

 

All applicants must demonstrate professional credentials and provide evidence of appropriate insurance and risk management documentation.
