Celebrate summer at Elizabeth Quay with Kaleidoscope - a festival of colour 

This summer, Elizabeth Quay transforms into a vibrant playground of light, music and movement. Kaleidoscope is a free, all-ages event that brings Perth’s waterfront to life with immersive art, live entertainment and family fun.

At its heart is Accordion – an interactive art installation never before seen in WA. Six towering archways burst with colour and sound, inviting you to wander through a living artwork that pulses with light and melody.

From live performances and roaming entertainment, to waterfront dining and kids’ activities, Kaleidoscope is where summer shines brightest. Come together where the city meets the water and experience Perth like never before.

Event highlights

Accordion
Experience Accordion - a spectacular light installation never before seen in WA. Six illuminated arches come alive with colour, music and movement, creating an interactive journey through a symphony of light and sound.

Live Music on the Water
Enjoy an exciting lineup of local and Australian musicians performing on the floating stage in the Elizabeth Quay inlet. Musician lineup to be released in January 2026.

Disco on the Bridge
The Elizabeth Quay footbridge becomes a glowing dance floor with LED lights, silent disco, live DJs and sparkling effects. Don’t miss this larger-than-life photo moment as you dance under the stars, overlooking the glittering city.

Roaming Entertainment
Be captivated by vibrant performers on foot, skates and poles. Expect circus acts, acrobats, sway pole artists and colourful characters bringing the precinct to life with energy and fun.

Family Fun
Meet a mermaid and seahorse, splash at the Elizabeth Quay Water Park and join the Crazy Hat Day Show - an interactive singalong concert celebrating music and movement.
