Remembrance Day at Barrack Square

11 November
Join us at Barrack Square, outside The Bell Tower, as we pause to remember the fallen with a bugler performance of The Last Post.
At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, Australians pause for a minute’s silence to reflect on the service, courage and sacrifice of our servicemen and women.
Remembrance Day marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended the fighting on the Western Front during the First World War in 1918. It is a time to honour all Australians who have served and sacrificed in conflicts and peacekeeping operations, and to remember those who did not return.
