Latitude 32, also known as the Hope Valley–Wattleup Redevelopment Area, is a major industrial precinct located within the Western Trade Coast. Spanning around 1,400 hectares, it is planned to support a wide range of industrial uses and meet the long-term needs of the south-west corridor. The project is expected to create thousands of jobs and contribute significantly to Western Australia’s economy.
Latitude 32 is governed by the Hope Valley–Wattleup Redevelopment Act 2000, which replaces local planning schemes with a dedicated Master Plan to guide development across the area.
The precinct is divided into six development areas, each guided by its own structure plan, including the Flinders (DA1), Wattleup (DA2) and Orion (DA6) precincts, with structure planning for Development Areas 4 and 5 is in progress. These plans align with Westport requirements and include updates to key road connections such as Rockingham Road and Rowley Road.
