After an extensive three stage procurement process, DevelopmentWA appointed a consortium led by Peel Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of Zenith Energy, to develop Western Australia’s first ever renewable energy microgrid to power an industrial estate, at the Peel Business Park in Nambeelup

The Consortium consists of Peel Renewable Energy, Sunrise Energy Group, a WA specialist in behind the meter, embedded renewable energy solutions and Synergy, WA’s biggest electricity and gas retailer.

Peel Renewable Energy is committed to successfully operating and expanding the Peel Business Park microgrid in its capacity as the long term microgrid operator, drawing on their experience from owning and operating precinct energy and utility infrastructure in other parts of Australia.
