The majority of the work is already complete. The final stage to energise the underground powerline and remove the overhead conductor and wood poles will take place from Tuesday 29 October to Monday 11 November 2024.
Most of the work will be carried out between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Saturday. Some work on Sunday between 9am and 7pm is also required. The timing of these weekend works will ensure we can complete the work safely and as quickly as possible, and coordinate activities required by crews working on the underground and overhead network.
Loud machinery may include cranes and elevated work platforms from 10 am on weekends and between 7 am and 4 pm on weekdays. Works outside of these times will be restricted to hand tools and power tools inside a tent.
