DevelopmentWA's first mixed-tenure build-to-rent development is rapidly taking shape in the heart of Perth. As construction progresses towards completion, 195 Pier Street is set to deliver a new model of rental housing, bringing together social, affordable and market rental homes within a single, well-connected community.

Building structure nearing completion
The 29-storey structure and exterior façadeare nearing completion, marking a significant milestone for DevelopmentWA's first mixed-tenure build-to-rent development. Apartment fit-outs continue throughout the building, with painting, flooring, kitchens and services complete up to Level 21.
Future resident spaces underway
Work has commenced on the resident podium, which is shown at the base of the tower in the image below. This will become the social heart of the development. The shared space will include a communal dining area, BBQ facilities, wellness room and library for the exclusive use of residents.
On track for building completion
Construction of 195 Pier Street is expected to be completed in mid-November. Following completion of the building, final testing, approvals and preparations will take place before residents begin moving in.
