JAZZ IN THE SQUARE - WAYJO Presents Jazz through the Ages

The Ellington Jazz Club are at it again - second year in a row. They are delighted to be hosting in Yagan Square for their 'Jazz in the Square' spring event. This year, to begin, there will be face painting and giant bubbles with Freedom Fairies, then hitting the stage is WAYJO presenting 'Jazz Through The Ages'.

The WAYJO St John of God Healthcare Tuesday Night Orchestra will fill Yagan Square with the sounds of big band jazz from across the ages, from classic swingers through to modern day bangers. Music Director Marty Pervan has chosen a program that will delight and excite. WAYJO celebrates 40 years of providing the very best big band jazz experience for young emerging musicians aged between 14-25 years old. You will be blown away by the talent of these exceptional young musicians.
