We invite comment on a development application for Thirteen (13) Industrial Units with Ancillary Offices at Lot 11 (No.87) MacFarlane Road & Lot 308 (No.160) Ayres Road, Forrestdale

The proposed application seeks discretion for ‘Contemplated’ warehouse uses (Light Industry) within the Precinct 8A (General Industry) portion of the site. 

In addition, the following discretion is sought:

  • a nil setback provided to McVeigh Street (new road to the south of the subject site) in lieu of 6m;
  • no fencing is provided within the street setback area for both Macfarlane Road and Ayers Road; and
  • 390 parking bays are proposed in lieu of the minimum 466bays, representing a 76 bay shortfall.
