Gap Ridge Homemaker Centre - Overview

A new retail destination taking shape for Karratha

Our first dedicated homemaker centre in Karratha is now taking shape at Gap Ridge.

Located alongside our communities at Madigan at Baynton West and Baynton West, this new precinct is designed to support the needs of a growing Karratha. It brings together large-format retail in one place, making it easier for people to access everyday home and lifestyle needs close to where they live.

A major Bunnings Warehouse is already underway, anchoring the centre and signalling a strong mix of retailers to come.

Just 6km west of the Karratha City Centre, on the corner of Dampier Road and Madigan Road, the site offers strong visibility, with around 11,500 vehicles passing each day. Zoned mixed business, it creates a flexible and well-connected location for future growth.

We see this as an important step in continuing to build a more connected, liveable Karratha, one that supports our community now and into the future.

Grow with Karratha

Karratha continues to grow as a vibrant regional city, and with that comes a clear need for greater access to quality retail goods and services.

A homemaker centre brings together everyday essentials for the home, from hardware and furniture to appliances, flooring and large-format retail that typically needs more space to operate.

We’re already seeing strong demand in this category. The local homemaker retail market is estimated at around $178 million, with continued growth expected as the region evolves and more people call Karratha home.
