Boat moorings
Arriving by boat? Moor up at Elizabeth Quay.
Elizabeth Quay welcomes recreational boaters, with 18 public short-stay moorings inside the inlet—perfect for dropping in to explore the precinct. Boats must pass under the pedestrian bridge, which has a 4.5m clearance, allowing most 10m–12m flybridge vessels through at all tide levels.
Planning a longer stay? There are swing moorings just outside the inlet to accommodate larger vessels.
Moorings are available for up to three hours, but availability may be impacted by water-based events.
For more details on boating in Perth waters, visit the Department of Transport.
Please note—swimming is not permitted due to high watercraft traffic.
