Shoreline Update: September 2026
Temporary Footpath: Bennett Avenue construction started
Construction of the temporary footpath on Bennett Avenue between Rollinson Road and Garston Way is due to commence from Wednesday 30 September and take approximately three weeks to complete, weather permitting.
During this time, a partial road closure and signed detour will be in place on Bennett Avenue between Rollinson Road and Garston Way from 7.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Saturday, with traffic management also in place at the Bennett Avenue/Rollinson Road roundabout.
Once complete, the path will provide a safer and easier connection through Shoreline.
