Boss Crew in Boorloo

Boss Crew in Boorloo celebrates the sounds and talent of First Nations artists

Boss Crew in Boorloo is set to bring bold, deadly and vibrant energy to the heart of Perth this April, showcasing the talent of First Nations artists and emerging performers.

Every Thursday in April, from 12pm – 2pm, Yagan Square will transform into a centre stage for creative Indigenous talent - with a fresh lineup of modern, dynamic dance and music lighting up the precinct each week.

Part of this year’s Boorloo Heritage Festival, the program is led and delivered by Boss Arts Creative’s Charley Caruso, alongside renowned Aboriginal singer songwriter Della Rae Morrison. The series creates space for storytelling, cultural knowledge sharing and artistic expression, giving emerging Indigenous artists a powerful platform to shine.

Across the month, enjoy a diverse mix of performances - from the soulful vocals of Bella Rae, an 18-year-old Torres Strait Islander singer songwriter, to the powerful sounds of Rhythm Tide, a WA-based First Nations band blending vocals, didgeridoo, guitar and modern instruments.

Boss Crew in Boorloo is proudly supported by DevelopmentWA, City of Perth, and Tourism WA as part of the month‑long Boorloo Heritage Festival celebrating Perth’s rich heritage.
