Start your Lightscape experience at Yagan Square 

From Yagan Square to Kings Park – follow the glow. Botanic Garden and Parks Authority (BGPA) and DevelopmentWA are teaming up to deliver an unforgettable after-dark winter experience from 5 June to 26 July, transforming Yagan Square into a glowing gateway to Lightscape.

Welcome to Little Lights in the Square - a playful trail of light where you can capture a moment beneath illuminated arches and wander neon pathways on your way to Lightscape.  

And during the school holidays, Little Lights in the Square will shine even brighter with free, family‑friendly entertainment from 6pm to 9pm each evening.

Expect plenty of surprises and interactive fun for all ages - from snow machines and dancing acrobats to rollerbladers gliding through the precinct and roving performers. You can also pre‑glow for Lightscape at the glitter bar, or try your hand at circus skills and ribbon‑twirling workshops.

Little Lights in the Square connects directly to the free Lightscape shuttle bus, departing nightly from Perth Busport (adjacent Yagan Square) to Kings Park.

Lightscape shuttle bus 

Take advantage of the FREE express shuttle bus service available from Perth Busport to Kings Park on event nights.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays

Departing Perth Busport: first service from 6pm until the final bus departs 9.15pm.

Departing Wadjuk Way, Kings Park: first service from 6.15pm, last service 9.30pm.

Departing every 15 minutes.

Fridays and Saturdays

Departing Perth Busport: first service from 6pm until the final bus departs 9.44pm.

Departing Wadjuk Way, Kings Park: first service from 6.15pm, last service 10.pm.

Departing every 8 minutes.
