We invite comment on a development application for a four (4) Storey Mixed Use Development comprising 27 multiple dwellings and a Child Care Premises at LOT 83 (No. 11) Sayer Street, Midland. 

The application seeks approval of a four (4) Storey Mixed Use Development comprising 27 multiple dwellings and a Child Care Premises including and a Ground Floor car parking area with a total of 32 parking bays including 21 residential parking bays and 11 commercial parking bays.

The application seeks approval for the discretion to vary the Acceptable Outcomes of the Midland Design Guidelines, including:

  • Proposed setbacks (Levels 1-3) to the northern and southern lot boundary of 1.5m instead of 3m;
  • Proposed elevator lift shaft boundary wall height of 14.6m instead of 10m on the southern lot boundary; and
  • Proposed boundary wall height of 12.1m instead of 10m on the northern and southern lot boundaries.
