What to expect

Civil works involve the establishment of services such as water and power for the new lots; we will also create new roads and pedestrian paths. Basically, we prepare the land to enable someone to build a house on their lot.

We expect our civil works program to be completed by Q3 2026. Public open space works will then follow the civil works completion. 

All work is being carried out under strict guidelines, including comprehensive construction management plans to reduce impacts to the local community.

Construction hours:
• Monday to Saturday
• 7:00am – 6:00pm (excluding public holidays)

Stage 2 demolition
The demolition program of old social housing stock in Stage 2 has commenced. 

What you need to know:
Work hours will be 7:00am – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday and 7:00am – 2:00pm on Saturday.

Stage 1 civil works
Concurrently, we have commenced the process to engage a civil works contractor to deliver Stage 1 of Kinway at Lefroy, with works anticipated to commence in mid 2026, another key milestone supporting the broader transformation of the Lefroy precinct.
