Williams - Overview

Williams - Overview

Williams is the ‘gateway’ to the Great Southern region, located about 160 kms south of Perth on Albany Highway.

Much more than a pit stop for travellers, this friendly farming community has much to offer. The area has a rich history of wool and grain farming and a shire population of approximately 1000 people. Williams is well known for its magnificent display of 400 roses on display over summer.

Suitable for those wanting a pleasant lifestyle, Williams is a great base for those working at nearby Boddington Gold Mine – soon to become the biggest gold mine in the southern hemisphere.
