Australian Marine Complex

The Australian Marine Complex (AMC) is a world-class centre of excellence for manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, maintenance and technology development, servicing the defence, marine, oil and gas, and resource industries.

Located in Western Australia, 23 kilometres south of Perth, the AMC has been developed to enhance the opportunities created by the clustering of industries and is home to the largest marine industry in Australia.

The AMC has established international credentials for the repair, maintenance and construction of naval and commercial vessels, as well as infrastructure for the fabrication and assembly of offshore oil and gas modules.

The AMC is made up of five main precincts:

  2. Technology
  3. Support Industry
  4. Fabrication
  5. Recreational Boating

Beyond the +150 businesses situated within the precincts, the AMC is also home to the Common User Facility (CUF); a 400ha world-renowned multi-user precinct offering bespoke solutions for manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, maintenance and technology development.

Additionally, located north of the CUF in the Shipbuilding precinct is highly-regarded Land for Lease. Positioned along the coastline, these lots are ideal for businesses that service the defence, marine, energy and resource industries.




The Australian Marine Complex is located on the shores of Jervoise Bay's northern and southern harbours, in the north-east sector of Cockburn Sound, 23 kilometres south of the State's capital city, Perth.
