DevelopmentWA invites experienced event producers to submit a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the delivery of a dynamic activation program at Elizabeth Quay to run alongside the City of Perth’s Christmas Lights Trail.

Complementing the Christmas Lights Trail installations at Elizabeth Quay, this activation will position the precinct as a premier must-visit destination - creating a lively, family-friendly environment that brings the magic of Christmas to life at Perth's iconic waterfront. Suggested experiences could include roving performers, themed pedal boats, interactive children's activities, silent disco, snow machines, Santa appearances and more. 

While the Christmas Lights Trail installations at Elizabeth Quay are managed separately, the successful proponent must collaborate closely with DevelopmentWA, and Elizabeth Quay and Barrack Square businesses to deliver a well-designed, innovative activation that enhances the festive atmosphere and overall visitor experience.

Key dates:

• The City of Perth Christmas Lights Trail will run from from 28 November to 28 December 2025. The trail is managed separately and is not part of this RFQ.
  
  
• The activation dates that form part of this RFQ are flexible, however, it is suggested to run two weeks leading up to Christmas (ie from 12 December to 25 December 2025).

Christmas @ the Quay represents a unique opportunity for an experienced event manager to be part of shaping memorable festive experiences in one of Perth's most iconic destinations. 

The available budget to deliver this activation is $40,000 ex GST. Proponents must include a detailed breakdown of expenditure in their submission.
