Getting here

Yagan Square is located on the border of Perth CBD and Northbridge and easily accessible on foot, bicycle and by public transport.

Train and Bus
Yagan Square is conveniently situated between Perth Train Station and Perth Busport. There’s direct access from the western end of Perth Train Station to the lower level of the square, and if you head east on the footpath from the busport you will find yourself at the square’s William Street Mall entrance.

You can find the Perth Underground Station just across Wellington Street or via the underground connection to Perth Train Station.

Visit Transperth's website for timetables and public transport information.

Take the free CAT bus right to Yagan Square’s front door. There’s three routes that stop daily near the square every 5 – 15 minutes, from morning to the evenings. You can access live times on the Transperth website and there's no services on Christmas Day, Good Friday or ANZAC Day.

Yellow CAT – East Perth to West Perth loop
You can find the Yagan Square stop (24) on Wellington Street just near the Digital Tower if you’re heading east on the Yellow CAT, or get off at the Forrest Place stop (14) if you’re heading west.

Blue CAT – Northbridge to Barrack Street Jetty loop
The blue CAT stops right at the top of the Horseshoe Bridge stop (13) when heading south, directly across from the square’s upper level entrance. The Beaufort Street Bridge stop (4) is a 350m walk from the square and the closest option when heading north on the blue CAT.

Red CAT – East Perth to West Perth loop
The red CAT stops nearby at Perth Station stop (24) when heading east, and at Forrest Place stop (10) when heading west.

Paid on street parking is available in the surrounding city and Northbridge areas for periods ranging up to two hours during the day, with some free parking in the evenings.

You can find longer parking options just a short distance away if you need more time at Yagan Square. Visit City of Perth Parking (CPP) or Wilson Parking (WP) for locations, ACROD information, rates, opening hours and available bays.

Park your bike
There's a number of bike racks available for use at the square.

Opening Hours

You can visit Yagan Square and enjoy the outdoor spaces 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner and drinks are available from a number of eateries at the Market Hall and Horseshoe Lane.

The Market Hall is open 11am to 8pm Sunday to Wednesday, and from 11am to 10pm Thursday to Saturday. Some eateries open earlier and close later than the Market Hall, so you can grab coffee and breakfast in the morning, or stay for eats and drinks later into the evening.

All eateries are closed on Good Friday.
