To honour the site's rich cultural heritage:

A reimagined Sandover Medal Walk, featuring a concrete path etched with details of each Sandover Medal winner surrounds Subiaco Oval. The etchings were designed in consultation with WA Football and a new winner will be added each year.

The Oval is bordered by the Six Seasons Bidi Trail, recognising the Noongar seasons and celebrating the depth of Noongar knowledge, culture, history and lived experience.

The heritage-listed Subiaco Oval entry gates were refurbished and retained to form the key entry into Subi East.
