To honour to the site’s rich cultural heritage:

• A new Sandover Medal Walk, featuring a concrete path etched with details of each Sandover Medal winner will encircle Subiaco Oval. The etchings will be designed in consultation with the Western Australian Football Commission and installed as part of Subi Oval Stage 1 works.
• The heritage-listed Subiaco Oval entry gates were refurbished and retained to form the key entry into Subi East. 
• The Oval is bordered by the Six Seasons Bidi Trail, recognising the Noongar seasons and celebrating the depth of Noongar knowledge, culture, history and lived experience.
