Subdivision approval is in place for Stage 1 (78 lots) with planning work underway for Stage 2-7. Construction for Stage 1 is expected to commence mid-2027 with a rolling program implemented for Stage 2 (43 lots).

In May 2026, $75.2m government funding was committed to Western Edge to support the delivery of the initial stages of Western Edge, including:

• Detailed design works and planning approvals
• Enabling infrastructure such as water, power, and telecommunication connections
• Construction of 121 lots (Stage 1 and 2)
• 9ha public open space
