Yagan Square Mall is a vital link in the city's cultural and commercial precincts, welcoming over 100,000 visitors weekly. It benefits from a central between Perth's Bus and Train Stations, the historic Horseshoe Bridge and the new ECU City campus opening in February 2026. 

The open-air space accommodates a range of events from markets and performances, to art exhibitions and festivals - with ample room to scale depending on requirements. 

The space is equipped with high-quality lighting for day-to-night activations, as well as accessible power supply and dedicated team to support event setup and delivery.

Overview
Yagan Square Amphitheatre is one of the city's most central community, meeting and celebration places. 

Surrounded by the beauty of a flourishing wildflower garden and the city backdrop, the Amphitheatre is located to the rear of Yagan Square (Horseshoe Bridge side) and situated next to the Perth Train and Bus Stations. 

The amphitheatre includes a spectacular digital canopy featuring more than 26,000 lights that create stunning displays of colour to complement your event. 

With terraced seating and an elevated stage, Yagan Square Amphitheatre accommodates a range of events from performances and live theatre/music, to festivals and outdoor movie screenings.

Yagan Square remains neutral regarding activities of a political, religious, or other nature. As such, we do not endorse or disapprove of these activities, and we do not process bookings or issue permits for rallies, demonstrations, protests, vigils, processions, or similar assemblies.

The venue identified below is available for your use under the following conditions to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors:

 

  • This public assembly is not classified as a formal ‘event,’ and your group attends the site at your own risk.
  • Respect other activities and events by avoiding interference or disruption.
  • Ensure all displayed content and activities remain appropriate for a public setting, avoiding graphic or offensive language and imagery. 
  • Refrain from attaching banners, flags, posters, or any infrastructure to light poles, trees, or building facilities.
  • Limit equipment to handheld items only; please do not bring generators, motorised equipment, helium balloons, candles, furniture, or vehicles onsite.
  • Avoid connecting to Yagan Square’s power supply.
  • Arrange your own contracted services such as cleaning or security. Refrain from distributing flyers, giveaways, food or drinks.
  • Avoid any selling, donations, or collection of money on site.
  • Leave the site in its original condition upon departure.
  • Refrain from using Yagan Square’s logo, images, or name to promote your assembly.Keep noise levels respectful to allow others to enjoy the space peacefully.
