1909 Subi East - Overview

1909 Subi East now open

The site of the former Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) is being transformed into a connected residential community that honours the history of its past and leads the area into an exciting new future. Civil works and landscaping began in September 2024 to create six large apartment sites and new areas of public open space. The precinct reopened to the public in May 2026 with a new playground, water features, memorial garden and direct access to West Perth through the revitalised Thomas Street underpass. Works are continuing on six lots in the precinct which will provide an estimated 1,000 residential apartments once complete.
